1. Provider and scope
These terms apply to Banaan, provided by Benjamin Helzle, Roetgenbachstraße 66, 52159 Roetgen, Germany. They apply to free and paid functions unless mandatory law or overriding payment-provider terms apply.
2. Service scope
Banaan helps endurance athletes with fueling planning, training context, reviews and resulting recommendations. The available features depend on the selected plan and the current product description in the app.
3. Not medical advice
Banaan provides sport and nutrition-related information and calculations. It does not replace individual medical diagnosis, treatment or clinical nutrition advice.
4. Account and user obligations
You are responsible for the accuracy of your information, the security of your access and lawful use of connected services. Misuse or activity that threatens security or availability is prohibited.
5. External data sources
Features may depend on external providers such as Intervals.icu or Strava. Banaan does not guarantee permanent availability of third-party interfaces outside its control.
6. Prices, checkout and Paddle
Prices and billing periods shown on the pricing page are subject to the information presented at checkout. Paid purchases and subscriptions are processed through Paddle as Merchant of Record. Paddle Buyer Terms and checkout information also apply to payment, invoicing, tax, renewal, refunds and the transaction.
7. Term and cancellation
Subscriptions run for the billing period selected at purchase and renew under the terms shown at checkout until cancelled. Cancellation is available through Banaan subscription management or the Paddle Buyer Portal flow. Mandatory statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.
8. Withdrawal and refunds
Consumers retain statutory withdrawal rights. See Withdrawal & cancellation for further information.
9. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security measures, technical failures or third-party changes may temporarily affect use.
10. Liability
Statutory liability rules apply. Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and mandatory statutory liability is not limited.
11. Final provisions
German law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of the country of their habitual residence.
